There are currently four kinds of QMS objects:
- Incident/Deviation Report: A way for a user to report a Deviation from standard or an Incident.
- Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) Plan: How the organization will address the incident or deviation in a related report.
- Change Control Request (CCR): Provides a formal approval process for the recommended actions.
- Form: Provide an organized way to gather information and approve different types of actions in the organization such as training assignment requests, changes to documentation, on-the-job training completions and so forth.

Each object systematizes the specific process into multiple steps where each step records input from one person and is approved by that person with an electronic signature. As part of each step is a specification of who the object should be routed to for the next step.

The templates that define each object are customized for each customer. For example, the steps that you take in a process and the types of information gathered may be completely different than another customer. SyberWorks creates these templates for you which may match your current process very closely or may be modified to take advantage of the fact that you now are using an on-line, integrated system rather than forwarding forms by email in what might be a completely manual, paper-driven process.
