Mary Kay: Hi Dave! So, what’s formative evaluation?

David Powell: In Instructional Design, formative evaluation is used to assess ongoing projects during their construction as a way to quickly spot issues and implement improvements. Formative Evaluation employs all standard evaluation techniques such as surveys, interviews, data collection and experiments.
