Mary Kay: Hi Dave, tell us about the technique “error analysis.”

David Powell: Instructors can use a variety of analysis techniques to evaluate the errors that students make in areas such as mathematical computation, grammar, language, literature interpretation and so on. Instructors then use the results of that analysis to guide further instruction.
