Last week, Dave Powell talked about Unicasting. This week Dave defines the GATHER Model. So I ask you, do you know your e-Learning Lingo?

Mary Kay: Hi, Dave. Tell us about the GATHER Model.

Dave Powell: The GATHER Model is a six-step, inquiry-based technique that is often used for teaching history.

Mary Kay: Tell us a little bit more about the steps involved in this model, Dave.

Dave: Sure. Sure. The steps include giving an overview, asking questions, triangulating the data, hypothesizing, exploring and interpreting the data, and recording and supporting the conclusions.

Mary Kay: Thanks, Dave. Have a good afternoon.

Dave: You, too. Talk to you soon.
